Fanny Pack Antics

Last year I had such a trouble finding a winter coat. I started to recently ‘get more into’ fashion and clothing but I am still quite new when it comes to finding something that looks good on me, at least from a subjective frame of reference. I can get plenty of advice about what people think looks good while I’m wearing it but if I don’t like it, I’m not going for it. Luckily, I came across www.guesscoats.com which is apparently a new website devoted to helping you figure out what sort of awesome coats that Guess has – I like the Guess brand a lot myself and it was exactly where I wanted to get my coat from. This site is absolutely perfect if you’re a fan of Guess, too, and I can’t suggest it any more highly than I already do but it is definitely worth checking out at the very least. I have decided that I am going to spend a few weeks traveling before I go to college next fall. Right now I have a good part time job working at a jimmy jazz clothing store and I do not have any real bills aside from my car insurance. Luckily my grandparents set up a trust fund for me and I get access to some of it when I turn 18. It is not a huge amount of money, but it is enough for me to make it through college relatively easily and I can afford to have a couple of weeks off. Read the rest of this entry »

Right now I am only 16 years old and a lot of jobs are not open to me obviously. I will turn 17 right before school lets out for the summer and I am going to need a job so that I can afford to have some fun. I worked at a few places. I even picked strawberries when I was 14 years old. That is legal in this state, but it might not be legal where you live however. I am looking for a job in retail though, a clothing shop like man alive. I want something where I wear nice clothes and could walk out of work to go on a date. My sister has always been a very spontaneous person. This is an aspect of her personality that we love about her, and it is also something that drives us crazy. For that reason we were extremely surprised when my sister started to plan out her wedding. Planning is just something that we have never seen her do. This is also why we were not surprised when she told us that she change her mind about her wedding location, and at the last minute she was moving her wedding to Thailand. She encouraged the bridesmaids to use bridesire to find a bridesmaids dress, and told the groomsmen that they could just wear a suit and tie.

Obviously, this meant that a lot of the individuals that were invited to the wedding were just not able to attend. But at the end of the day, I think that this is exactly what my sister wanted. My wife and I had always suspected that something like this was going to happen, and so we had already set aside a little bit of money for a trip like this. And truth be told, we always wanted to visit Thailand.

A friend of mine keeps telling me that I should take my kids around to the modeling agencies in dc, and I do not deny that they are awfully sweet to look at. She says that they would be good at it because they are well behaved and obedient. Since she is a photographer who does this sort of thing I take it seriously. In fact she has gotten the children some work this coming weekend. Apparently she did it for her own sake, as she is tired of her employer sending her children who are not professional. I laughed at this. My kids are well behaved, but they are probably going to be cranky and fussy if this stuff requires too much from them. Read the rest of this entry »

I am always on the hunt for salon and skincare services. I travel a lot due to my job, and it is sometimes hard looking good on the road. I never used to care that much, because I figured that having a good suit and a thorough shower every morning was enough. I was wrong.

The turning point was on my last vacation. My wife and I were on a cruise, and she dared me to get a mani-pedi with her. She thought I never would, but I was feeling a little rambunctious. We were on a cruise after all, so I shocked her and said sure. An hour later, my hands and feet felt great. I had no idea skin could feel so good.

My husband is in the military and it has caused my family to uproot several times over the last twelve years. The place that we were based last was our longest stay during his entire military career. My daughter was able to go to the same school for six straight years and she has really developed some strong relationships. Unfortunately, we were relocated about a month ago and it has not been easy for her. Yet, we are looking for the upcoming prom dresses for 2013 for her to wear to her prom at her old school.

We have made arrangements for her and I to fly back to our old town so that she can attend her prom with the rest of her friends and her boyfriend.

I am currently out of the country and on vacation in Singapore, and I am currently in need of some new fashionable clothes. I think that I initially packed enough clothes for my stay, I am going to be out of the country for a couple months, I figured that I need a nice long vacation, and this is the perfect time to do it. Anyway, somehow I lost one of my bags in the transit over here, and now I am looking to shop online in singapore for women’s clothing, so that I will be able to order some pretty dresses and such to wear while I am on vacation and then be able to have it shipped directly to where I am currently staying, without having to worry about overseas delivery and any of that sort of nonsense.

I am really hoping that I will be able to find some new designs and fashions, because I want to be able to look hip, and the dresses that I have left in my luggage are not the newest ones in my wardrobe by any means. I guess I should have bought some new clothes before I went on vacation in any case. I should have thought about this awhile ago, but to be honest, if I had thought about it, it might have been my new clothes that I lost in trip over, instead of the clothes that I did lose. Anyway, I am going to new to buy several complete outfits to wear here. I am not sure how many yet, it depends a bit on the price, but at least five outfits, I would say, and probably a couple more than that. I guess I better start looking for some cute clothes and good deals on the internet.

There exists a common misconception amongst some men and women that, when you are pregnant, you should not dress in fashionable clothing. I, for one, do not buy this mind set for a minute. I think that it is very important for women, no matter what trimester, to look as beautiful as they might feel. Sometimes, though, we just don’t feel very beautiful. There are days that no matter how hard we try we are just not going to feel very pretty. As a woman who is on a strict budget, it was becoming difficult to find cheap maternity clothes. It can be extremely hard on us dealing the radical changes to our bodies; physical and otherwise, so it is my personal philosophy that we should find that special something that will let us feel pretty on those hard days. After some shopping around, I was so pleased to discover a wonderful line of cheap yet fashionable maternity clothes that were just perfect for me.

Finding them can be hard because there are those days that no matter how hard we try, we are not going to be very happy with whatever it is we wear. I find that picking out a wide variety of colors and styles is important. Some days you may want to want to appear more slim, so you’ll go for those darker colors and on other days we might want to celebrate our pregnancy so we will go with something more flamboyant and colorful. These small steps can truly help your emotional state, even in a small part, and I think that is very important. Remember, a little stress can be good for the body and your baby but too much is dangerous to both mother and child! Shop smart and be proud to be so beautiful.
