The dedication of some tourists isn’t something to be laughed at. And we’re not laughing… actually we’re a little creeped out. After all, what kind of people wake up at 6:30 (i.e. ass crack of dawn) to do some Tai Chi facing an important Hawaiian rock on Waikiki Beach? Apparently, it’s the thin ones visiting from China. But unless we’re hungover and craving an early-morning cheeseburger, don’t expect the same from us Americans.

After watching too many movies we thought Buddhist monks should be introspective beings that just chant a lot. Apparently we were wrong, they’re also tourists with big sneakers and Canon cameras…But think about how much better this pic (taken in Beijing) would be if he were wearing a fanny pack.

For those of you that have been lucky enough not to experience what is Hangzhou, China (think colorfully lit dancing fountains, huge hotels, annoying children) here’s another story that may keep you from flying there forever and ever. According to USA Today, wild pigs have been running into the downtown areas and scaring tourists. Does this mean there will be more pork-filled dumplings to solve the city’s live pig problem? Or are pigs considered to be an endangered species nowadays?
